AMPS announces CER-S (pronounce Ceres) Continuous Ecg Recordings Suite

Tuesday 12 November 2013

Building on the already existing well-known AMPS technology such as Antares, for the extraction of 10 seconds ECGs strips from holter recordings, and WinAtrec, the software solution embedding the Holter Bin method, the new CER-S will include modules for the Heart Rate Variability Analysis (HRV), and the Beat to Beat Analysis (B2B). CER-S will be completed by a new Viewer module allowing the simultaneous display of the continuous ECG recording together with all the pieces derived and built to generate a submission record, e.g. ECG extractions (when applicable), beat annotations and labels, and measurement annotations generated by whichever analysis method.

Fabio Badilini, PhD, FACC, Chief Scientist and AMPS founder commented: “This new set of tools will satisfy the needs of all the CRO laboratories striving to stay ahead of the curve by offering to their Pharmacological customers the most innovative and serious alternative methods to the traditional T-QT studies and at the same time comply with the new requirements for submitting continuous ECG data to the ECG FDA Warehouse.

The major features of CER-S include:

  • Beat editing tools optimized for continuous ECG recordings in a pharmaceutical research context
  • Beat to Beat analysis
  • Holter Bin analysis
  • Heart Rate Variability analysis
  • Ergonomic Viewer of Continuous recording

Modules of CER-S will become available following the calendar published in AMPS-QT the AMPS quarterly magazine available at the AMPS web site. All AMPS customers already licensing tools that are now part of CER-S will receive offers to upgrade to the new enhanced suite.
