Stand-alone vs COM interface
CalECG is available in two forms:
Stand-alone, in which the measurements and protocols
are defined on the computer used to analyze a particular
ECG;
Client/Server , in which the data and program reside
on a server, but the interactive measurements are
made on a client PC. This model has many advantages,
such as the ability to centrally define protocols. This
simplifies the adaptation of measurement protocols,
which only need to be defined once, rather than for each
station.
