CalECG Details

A unique patented method for the analysis of 12 lead ECG for clinical trials.

CalECG is an application designed for the on-screen measurement of ECG signals in the context of pharmaceutical trials.
CalECG allows to measure the ECG in a fully manual mode or, by taking advantage of the built-in BRAVO automatic measuring algorithm, annotations can be pre-positioned and then manually adjusted by the user. Representative Beats (Medians) are also supported.

The software is capable of handling digital ECGs, seamlessly interfaced with several types of formats, including FDA HL7 XML standard supported by US Food and Drug Administration.

CalECG can be run both in standalone mode or fully controlled through the usage of an API library based on Common Object Interface (COM) technology (embedded mode). In this case, CalECG can be seen as a server component object, as generally said in COM terminology.
The client application can be anything that support COM, i.e. another application or a browser script. The software provides a very ergonomic graphical interface with a totally customizable ECG display, including display of ECG signals in predefined format, such as 3 X 4 or 6 X 2.

CalECG includes, as an optional, a diagnostic algorithm, which has been integrated thanks to the cooperation between AMPS and the University of Glasgow.
CalECG handles both Rhythm and Representative Beats (medians) waveforms, and supports measurements on a specific ECG lead or the overall set of leads (global measurements). Via manual or semiautomatic algorithm, the software is capable of measuring both time interval durations and wave amplitudes.

CalECG can produce many types of output format, which can be optionally automatically directed to a database or to an output file in either a requested format or into the FDA HL7 XML format.
The software provides a set of comprehensive and flexible tools for the display of ECG waveforms, which allow users to optimize the display according to the clinical protocol.

A User Manual is included in the setup package, automatically copied in the installation folder.

Demo versions of all AMPS software are fully functional only with the example demo data files included in the setup package.
